Watch together on your TV
One booking, one call device, everyone together. The way to do this is screen mirroring — showing your whole phone or computer screen on a compatible TV. Casting a video app won’t work: this site has no cast button, so mirror your screen instead.
AirPlay mirroring
- Connect your iPhone or iPad and an AirPlay-compatible TV or Apple TV to the same Wi-Fi.
- Open Control Centre, tap Screen Mirroring and choose your TV. Enter the code shown on the TV if asked. This shows your whole screen, not just one app.
- Keep the gig open on your device. To finish, open Screen Mirroring again and tap Stop Mirroring.
Try it before your gig. TV compatibility, picture and call audio vary. This site cannot start mirroring for you. If sound is missing or delayed, use your original device or try a cable.
The camera and microphone stay on your phone or computer, not the TV. Position that device so the host can see your group. Turn on Do Not Disturb: screen mirroring can also show notifications.
Keep only one device joined to the call in the room. If you hear echo, lower the TV volume, mute your microphone when not speaking, or use headphones. Check your device’s sound output if audio comes from the wrong speaker.
